Conductor, Felix de Nobel
The Nederlands Kamerkoor, or Dutch Chamber Choir, which has been singing at the Edinburgh Festival, consists of seventeen singers - nine women and eight men. It was founded in 1937 for the purpose of singing the cantatas of Bach, but its repertoire has been extended to include choral music of almost every country and of every period. (D.C.)
