The Revived Interest in the Old Testament by the Rev. Professor C. R. North , D.Lit.
Dr. North is President of the Society for Old Testament Study, and Professor of Hebrew in the University College of North Wales. In this talk, the first of five to be given by members of the Society for Old Testament Study, he deals with the varying fortunes of the Old Testament in the course of history, and the more positive understanding that has been made possible by recent ttudy.
