The twenty-first in a series of programmes that are being broadcast weekly to the Empire

This morning Mr. Wilkes and the rest of the 'Black Dog' company are appearing at a new programme time. From now on the microphone will visit this famous 'inn of the air' on Wednesdays at 12.30 instead of Thursdays at the same time.
'At the Black Dog' has now been broadcast over fifty times and continues to provide a rare assortment of 'droppers-in'. Howard Marshall tells us that he has recently received two letters, one of which was addressed to him simply, 'Howard Marshall, At the Black Dog, London,' while the envelope of the other bore only his name and a drawing of a black dog.

Alastair Borthwick
Here is another talk by one of the most popular speakers in Scottish broadcasting. Many listeners will know of Alastair Borthwick 's
' Roving Commission' series, and also the talks that he gave under the heading ' Back Stage at Bellahouston ', in which he described the progress being made with the building of the Glasgow Exhibition.
Borthwick is a Glasgow man who has had journalistic experience both in his home town and in London. In following this career of journalism he has had many interesting experiences, and in the course of his job has worked as a deckhand, as a navvy, and as an Army recruit. Climbing is his favourite hobby, and he is a cragsman of great experience.
