'Show Boat' will be repeated in the Regional programme on Wednesday night
by HELEN PERKIN Helen Perkin gained an open scholarship for piano at the Royal College of Music less than ten years ago. While there she studied composition with John Ireland, many of whose compositions she has since introduced to the public. Indeed, Ireland's Pianoforte Concerto was dedicated to her. She has broadcast frequently in recent years and is an established favourite with listeners.
