The Rev. F. E. HUTCHINSON: The Relation of the Churches to one another and to the State
This is the last of three broadcasts on the Church by the Rev. F. E. Hutchinson, and in it he will discuss the adoption by the State of the policy of toleration, and trace the development of Nonconformity and of the Roman Catholic Church in England. The Church of Ireland, the Welsh Church, the Church of Scotland, the Church of England and the question of the revised Prayer Book, all will be touched on, and the ground prepared for the discussion on 'Church and State: Establishment or Disestablishment?' next Wednesday.

Sir William BRAGG, O.M., K.B.E., F.R.S.
Tonight will be given the first of six lectures on Light, and the purpose of this series will be to answer, so far as it is possible, the question, 'What is Light?' Throughout the series the bold experiment will be made of attempting to explain the processes of light by hearing, and not by visual demonstration. Listeners will be asked to find their own demonstrations in what they see about them, in the house, in the town, in the open country, and by the sea.
Sir William Bragg has given lectures on the air almost since the initiation of broadcasting. Listeners will recall his National Lecture on Michael Faraday in March, 1931, and also that he gave the introductory talk to the series of Scientific Research broadcasts last September.
His second lecture in this series will be broadcast next Wednesday night.
