(From Bournemouth)
The Reverend John Levo tells a fascinating story of life in the West Indies, where he has been as a missionary of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel for twenty-five years. He is the only missionary living on the island of Tortola and he visits his coloured flock in a rowboat, or on foot among the mountains. He has written several novels of West Indian life, and broadcast a very lively topical talk about Hurricanes' from London about four years ago, when he was last in England.

Appeal on behalf of ST. MARY'S HOSPITAL, PADDINGTON, EXTENSION FUND, by Sir WALFORD DAVIES
This great London teaching hospital, whose work for the treatment of the sick poor goes hand-in-hand with the training of doctors and nurses, is urgently in need of funds for the provision of adequate accommodation for the nursing staff and Pay Bed Wards for patients of moderate means. Every gift to the great teaching hospitals is a gift to the future of which the value increases from one year to another.
Contributions will be gratefully received and acknowledged by Sir Walford Davies , [address removed]
