Commander STEPHEN KING-HALL
Commander King-Hall 's own interest in economics, as he confessed in his first talk in this series, is practical rather than theoretical. This fact, added to his flair for exposition, makes him a sympathetic commentator upon the economic and financial affairs of the past week. It is his aim in these talks, after consultation with experts when necessary, to review the economic scene and to explain it in simple language.

The Mingling of the Races
A Discussion between Professor H. J. FLEURE ,
D.Sc., and Mr. ARTHUR BRYANT
Mr. Baldwin, in his introduction to this series, stressed the often neglected importance of the Celtic, Saxon and Norman strains in the national make-up. Tonight Mr. Arthur Bryant and Professor Fleure pursue this line of thought in discussion. They will attempt to trace racial differences between people in different parts of the country; to estimate the effect on national character of the infusion at various times of Flemish, Jewish, and Huguenot elements, and to find out to what extent the national character is conditioned by its racial inheritance.
