Mr. Harold M. Abrahams , who was the first running commentator on athletics, describes this afternoon's contest between Great
Britain and Germany. This is the third meeting of the two countries on the track; the two previous matches were relay contests, 'and Germany won in England in 1929 and at Cologne in 1931. To-day's match embraces a full field and track programme, and will t be decided on the point system.
