Sir Percy Nunn, who is only giving this one talk in the series, has been Principal of the London Day Training College since 1922. He has taught mathematics in various secondary schools, and has published many books and papers dealing with educational problems. Up till now, the speakers in this series have expounded the facts of education as it is today. Sir Percy Nunn introduces the second half of the series, which deals rather with education as it ought to be. Education is a force which we ourselves control, and we can therefore change it if we are dissatisfied with it. Sir Percy Nunn this evening, and Professor Macmurray in the next five talks, will help us to judge the present system of education for ourselves. Sir Percy Nunn gives in this talk an account of the views of educational experts.
