Professor JULIAN HUXLEY: 'Man as a Relative Being'
THIS is the first of Professor Julian Huxley 's, two talks in Part II of the Wednesday series, which gives an account of Man's investigations of himself. Professor Huxley is the grandson of the great T. H. Huxley, the scientist and philosopher. He was Professor of Zoology at King's College, London, for two years, and has been an Honorary Lecturer there since 1927. He was one of the earlier broadcasters : senior listeners will remember his series, ' The Stream of Life,' in 1925. He has also given a series of six talks on ' Bird Watching,' and introduced the ' Science and Religion ' series last autumn.
