Caradog Prichard
(A Welsh Interlude: A Welsh Literary Review)
Mr. Prichard will review new Welsh books issued during the past few months.
Many factors contribute to the vitality which characterizes the Welsh Press of today and the notable increase in the number of its productions, as compared with the situation a few years ago. Not the least of these are the emphasis placed on the claims of the Welsh language in the schools of Wales, and the efforts which are being made to adapt the language to various phases of the national life which have hitherto been completely anglicized.
Mr. Prichard himself has some notable literary successes to his credit, including the winning of the Bardic Crown at three successive National Eisteddfodau.
