Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Basil Dawson
* During the absence of Douglas Burbidge caused by illness
After a set-back caused by hysterical paralysis, Angela-with Bob's encouragement-was able to get on to her feet.
Julie's mother wrote to Trevor's C.O. asking him to prevent the couple meeting in future; the letter was passed to the Padre, who had a talk with Sally about it. Monument apologised to Mrs. Dale for the clash between him and Mr. Smithers, and in view of his decision to remain in Parkwood Hill
Mrs. Dale gave him his job back. A letter from Jenny's father to David brought the whole complicated situation concerning Bob, Angela, and Jenny into the open. Isabel Fielding was delighted when she was told that, due to a change of plans, the International Help for Children needed another family to welcome a Czech boy. Mr. Capon asked Miss Simmons to marry him and she accepted. Angus Moray came to London and persuaded Joan Dale to return with him to Grandfather Dale's farm.
