The annual Polytechnic Marathon from Windsor Great Park to Chiswick will have an added significance this year in view of Britain's participation in the Commonwealth and Empire Games and the European Athletic Championships.
As no man can be expected to run two marathon races within a couple of weeks the Polytechnic becomes, in fact, the A.A.A. Championship, and followers of athletics will be keen to know how Jim Peters deals with the large field that this event attracts.
In the last talk of the present series Dudley Perkins looks back over his broadcasting year and picks out points which have been of special interest to listeners
