Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Basil Dawson
Charles Lamb is appearing in ' For Better for Worse ' at the Comedy Theatre, London)
Oswald Garnish 's houseboat, which broke loose from its moorings, was eventually towed back by a P.L.A. patrol launch. David bought a second-hand car, but while showing; it off to the family it got stuck in the drive. Bob's weekend in Melburgh with Jenny was a fiasco. Having seen very little of her on the Saturday, he became very angry when, on the Sunday afternoon, she agreed to rehearse with the producer. He returned home with Angela Wade , who had just been sacked from the company, and discovered she was the daughter of a famous Q.C. Fickling threatened to give notice to Richard Fulton if he did not get rid of the dog he had iust bought; and, to add to Mr. Fulton's troubles, he was served with a writ for slander. Mrs. Freeman learned that Mrs. Cunningham had just won a good deal of money and instructed Sally's solicitors to write to Mrs. Cunningham requesting immediate settlement of her outstanding account with ' Sarah.'
