2-' Fighter of Oil Fires
Myron KLmley, of Texas, U.S.A., is the only man in the world who can claim to be an expert on ' blow outs ' and fires in the oilfields. He is called upon to fly at a moment's notice to any country in the world to fight the ' wild well ' or the fire. This programme was recorded when he was in London for a brief pause on his way from Arabia to California and in it he tells h:s own story, which culm nates in a dramatic reconstruction of how he rackied the RIG 20 fire in Persia. Kinley called this raging furnace, shooting flames over 400 feet into the air and roar ng so that speech was impossible for a quarter of a mile around, ' the grandaddy of them all.'
