Mrs. Dale, the doctor's wife, records the daily happenings in the life of her family
Script by Lesley Wilson
Last week Miss Marchbanks brought Mrs. Mountford's ruby velvet to Virginia Lodge saying it would never be missed. Mrs. Dale and Mrs. Freeman had great difficulty in returning it without Mrs. Mountford realising what had happened. Sally, while driving with Peter Kingston in his car, was involved in an accident. The Dales insisted on her staying with them until she had recovered from the shock, David told Gwen he would be working late. When Gwen rang him at the office, the cleaner said no one was there. He also broke their weekly lunch date without a reason. Gwen was very annoyed and decided to go out. When she returned she found the new suit hanging in her wardrobe.
