Since 1931 the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Delinquency has pioneered in research into the causes and prevention of delinquency in children and adults. The results of its scientific research are made known through The British Journal of Delinquency and other publications, and the Institute arranges lecture-courses and conferences for all who are interested in the practical problems of the fight against crime, as well as for specialists in the judicial and social fields.
