Felix Felton chooses Mephistophilis from Marlowe's ' Doctor Faustus '
Felix Felton 's affection for Mcphistophilis goes back to his days at Oxford when he still had, as it were, his head in the O.U.D.S. He played Doctor Faustus to Peter Glenville 's Mephistophilis. ' How pliant is this Mephistophilis, full of obedience and humility! ' exclaims Doctor Faustus at one point. And Mephistophilis, of course, is servant to the great Lucifer. He is in a way a reluctant villain and this, claims Felix Felton, adds not a little to his charm. with Anthony Jacobs as Mephistophilis
