makes a Christmas Eve appeal from France on behalf of Voluntary Hospitals in Great Britain and Northern Ireland
In place of separate broadcasts on behalf of separate hospitals the concerted effort which has proved so successful for Hospital Flag Days in London is being adopted for appeals at the microphone. The Committee in charge includes representatives of King Edward's Fund and of the British Hospitals Association. Contributions sent to the general fund may be ear-marked for any individual hospital and voluntary hospitals throughout Great Britain and Northern Ireland will benefit.
