Melodies past and present played by The Howard Godfrey Septet
Melodies of Noel Coward Ancliffe in the ballroom
Just over a year ago Howard Godfrey brought his newly-formed Septet to the microphone-members of his Waldorf Hotel orchestras, both straight and dance. He left the Waldorf to carry out watches on the south-east coast as a member of the Observer Corps. This afternoon, during his time off. he is back again with his septet on the air.
