This brilliant artist was heard recently both in a 'Monday Night at Eight' and in a broadcast of All Clear, the revue at the Queen's Theatre. She gave her inimitable 'Marvellous Party', and also broadcast in another hit of the show, 'Weary of it all' in which as a blase cabaret star she refuses her suitors, but not the gifts they would shower on her, and does it in a way only Beatrice Lillie can.
There is no more subtle comedienne on the stage today, as Americans appreciate as much as ourselves.
