With Charles and Elsa Chauvel.

The Adelaide River flows through the hot plains to its estuary in Adam Bay on the fringe of the Timor Sea. Annually these 15,000 square miles of country are flooded, part of the area being utilised for rice-growing. Charles and Elsa show shots of buffaloes that roam the area, the fantastic bird-life, and the crocodiles living along the river.
