If you bid - you lose!
A documentary programme on the 'mock' or false auction sales now being held at summer fairs and in holiday towns, where the auctioneer 'nails' the mugs, runs out the Hinton lots, and finally 'gazoomphs' the unwary bidders out of their holiday savings. The mock auctioneer's own terms for the goods he offers should be sufficient warning - 'flash, swag, and plunder.'
