A dramatised documentary by Duncan Ross.

As the bells clang out, the radio from Central Control fills in the details: 'A two-storied house... it is believed the owner, a Mrs. Robb, is trapped in the building'.
This is the story of a fire, from the first emergency call to the time when the cause of the outbreak has been determined. It is a story first of swift action and then of painstaking enquiry, involving the Fire Brigade, the Police, and a Home Office Forensic Science Laboratory.
