A series of wild-life programmes.
Introduced by Peter Scott.

A composite picture of the island of South Georgia seen through the eyes of a wild-life photographer, Niall Rankin, and of an explorer and map-maker, Duncan Carse.
South Georgia lies between latitude 40° and the Antarctic Circle. Many kinds of seals and penguins live around its shores, and it is one of the homes of the great sea bird - the Wandering Albatross.
