BBC outside broadcast cameras on the ground and airborne in a BEA helicopter watch the gliders and members of the Lasham Gliding Centre as they float, soar, and aerobat over the beautiful Surrey countryside at Lasham.
Air Man-on-the-Spot Raymond Baxter, who hopes to fly his first glider solo, watches some of this country's gliding experts show their skill.
