A new Western film series.
The exciting adventures of the famous Western Stagecoach Service.

A new driver insists that he can cope alone without any help from the man from Headquarters. But perhaps it's just as well that the official goes along for the ride.
See below

A Stagecoach drawn by six horses comes thundering downhill. Painted on its side are the words 'Wells Fargo', the words that have become as much a part of the history of the American West as Jesse James, Buffalo Bill, and the Colt revolver. Now in a new Saturday series of films, some of the stories of this remarkable company are revived for television, with Dale Robertson, a rugged six-footer with the look and style of the authentic Westerner, playing the leading role throughout. Wells Fargo operated from 1852 to 1918 as an express company, and it took on the duties of the post office department of the frontier. It carried mail to the most remote communities; it operated stage lines, banks, dealt with cattlemen, miners, sheepmen. Its operatives pursued outlaws. The Wells Fargo Company was, in essence, the frontier counterpart of the FBI, and indeed its agents and investigators were often ahead of the law.
