A weekly date with Percy Thrower and his gardening friends.

This week he advises on: Pruning and repotting hydrangeas; propagation of begonia rex from leaves; repotting the old cyclamen corms.
He also pays another visit to Attingham Hall to find out how the grapes are getting on, and see what Mr. Carter is doing in the kitchen garden.
He welcomes back to the studio Frank Knight, the Director of the Royal Horticultural Society's Gardens at Wisley, who brings with him various shrub roses, including some of the old-fashioned types.
