A journey from coast to coast across Canada in the C.P.R.'s crack express "The Canadian" would take something like seventy hours, through some of the most magnificent scenery in the world. A certain number of viewers have doubtless made the trip, but for the majority it must inevitably remain one of those travel dreams that can only be partly realised in books, or in films. Tonight, however, nine minutes of the programme will be taken up with a film of the highlights of this fabulous journey.
