A Year with the Advance Party at Shackleton Base
Dr. Rainer Goldsmith and R. H. A. Stewart, who are back from Shackleton Base, tell David Attenborough of their experiences during the year they were isolated in the Antarctic, and show film and photographs taken there.
Donald Milner, the BBC Correspondent who accompanied the main expedition on the Magga Dan, describes the voyage out.
It is hoped to have an up-to-date report by radio direct from Dr. Fuchs at Shackleton Base.
