Bandits are planning a big bank robbery and shoot the sheriff in order to draw off the townsfolk on a wild-goose chase. The plot thickens when one of the outlaws' horses goes lame and they seize another from a former associate. But Rebel picks up the scent and it's not long before Champion and the others are hot on the trail.
