A new comedy written and directed by Henry Denker
[Starring] Yolande Donlan and Phil Brown, John Justin in an excerpt from Olive Ogilvie
A special performance from the Aldwych Theatre, London

A Theatre-Night excerpt from 'Olive Ogilvie'
Tonight's excerpt from the Aldwych Theatre presents a new comedy by American Henry Denker, which has not yet been seen on Broadway, but which will doubtless appeal to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. Olive Ogilvie, its central figure, is a film star of very fashionable dimensions. Having reached the heights in her profession-thirty-five feet on celluloid-chiefly by means of her physical fascination, she decides she must become a stage actress. She walks out on her Holly-wood bosses and makes for Broadway. But although the intention may be quite laudable, her manager, Sam Grassman, is aware that there's more money to be made out of Olive's pictures, and he sets out to get her to return to her rightful home, Hollywood.
To do so he draws into his plot a film script-writer, Alec Grimes, who, unfortunately for Sam, still has some non-commercial views on life, and of course, on Olive....
