8/11. Retro rocker Suzi Quatro spins American rock 'n' roll gems of the 50s and early 60s, with a special programme devoted to Elvis Presley, who would have been 70 this Sunday. British rockabilly artist Darrel Higham identifies the Presley disc that changed his life. Also, Suzi celebrates the 50th anniversary of the recording of Carl Perkins's seminal hit Blue Suede Shoes, which Presley also recorded. Plus country-crossover tracks by Boots Randolph and Floyd Cramer, both of whom played on Presley records.
