3/4. Miles at the Isle of Wight. John Fordham recalls Miles Davis 's appearance at the 1970 Isle of Wight Rock Festival. Davis was already making the transition to jazz rock but this was the first time he appeared alongside the big names of rock - including Hendrix, the Doors and Joan Baez - and he delivered an electrifying set that firmly established him and his new image as a major attraction on the international rock circuit.

In Handel's ancient Roman soap opera, a power-hungry, power-dressing Agrippina will stop at nothing to get her son Nero on the throne. Nero, however, is more interested in the beautiful Poppea; as are two other men, including his stepfather the Emperor Claudio. Introduced by Stephanie Hughes.
