RT Michael Berkeley 's guest is writer and philosopher Colin Wilson , whose
CHOICE extraordinarily extensive output began 50 years ago with the publication of The Outsider and has gone on to embrace literary, music and film criticism, science fiction, the occult and criminology. He is currently working on a book about the group of writers and playwrights known as the Angry Young Men. His musical tastes range from a Haydn string quartet to symphonies by Prokofiev and Howard Hansen , and operas by Britten and Berg.

Froberger Froberger 's musical language and influence is of great importance in the development of Baroque keyboard music and his toccatas provided the model for Buxtehude and Bach. Lucie Skeaping talks to harpsichordist Robert Woolley and music editor Dr Richard Jones about Froberger's style and influences. They also discuss the recently discovered manuscript, dating from Froberger's final years, that was sold in November at Sotheby's.
