Double Dutch - the Age of the Netherlanders 1/2. This weekend LucieSkeaping explores the golden age of Netherlandish music in the early 16th century, when virtually every major musical centre in Europe was run by a musician from the Low Countries, including such composers as Dufay, Binchois,
Ockeghem and Josquin des Prez. And Jacques Maassen , director of the Netherlands Carillon School in Amersfoort, looks at the age-old tradition of carillon playing in the Low Countries.
