London. Gergiev and the LSO continue their complete Prokofiev symphonic cycle with two works spanning the longest symphony-less period of Prokofiev's composing career. The Fifth, one of his best-loved symphonies, was composed towards the end of World War Two, almost 15 years after the original version of the Fourth. Presented by Tommy Pearson.
