Conductor Osmo Vanska established himself as a major Sibelius interpreter with a symphonic cycle earlier this year with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Now, they bring Sibelius's choral epic Kullervo to the Proms and the Royal Albert Hall, along with the dramatic Luonnotar and a newly rediscovered tone poem - all inspired by Finnish storytelling traditions.
