Alison Brackenbury introduces her poem, 1829, written in the voices of Mozart and his widow, Constanze. Almost 40 years after Mozart's death, in 1829, an English couple, the Novellos, visited Constanze in Salzburg. She spoke to them about her husband, and the writing of the Requiem.
