A feature of London concert life around 1700 was the popularity of quintets for two recorders, two oboes and continuo. In this programme, a Sonata in B flat by Gottfried Kel ler, an anonymous Sonata Curiosa in c and a Concerto in B flat by Johann Christoph Pepusch are played on appropriate instruments by members of ARS NOVA.
