Anthony Quinton , philosophy tutor at New College, Oxford. and literary journalist, says his actions are always with words. Inveterate verbaliser, he likes music with words, or where, as often, that is not decently possible, music that is exciting enough to extinguish any verbal impulse. His choice of records includes BENNY GOODMAN 'S Air Mail Special, ELLA FITZGERALD and LOUIS ARMSTRONG with Love is Here to Stay, part of Palestrina's Stabat Mater and a movement from a Bach double harpsichord concerto.
