Part 2 Brahms Violin Concerto
Jonathan Miller , historian of medicine, theatre and television director, presents a personal choice of records. He says he plays no instrument, cannot read a score, but feels that he would suffer from scurvy of the soul if he did not get his daily ration of rhythm. His choice of ' rhythm ' includes Purcell's Evening Hymn, Gute Nacht from Schubert's Winterreise, and some of Bach's Goldberg Variations.
