' My theme has not been the " greening " but rather the lynching of America,' says Mr Beichman of his study of the way he believes that life in the United States has been consistently misrepresented by a great many of his fellow intellectuals. In tonight's conversation he talks about why he wrote the book and the extent to which its charges are applicable outside America.
