Dr Heim has worked for many years at the psychology laboratory in Cambridge, where she is chiefly concerned with devising tests for measuring aptitudes. The result of this work led her to write a book, intelligence and Personality, in which she offers evidence for ana against some of the widely accepted assumptions about psychological assessment. In this talk Dr Heim demonstrates the facts underlying arguments about the ' equality of women and men.
