Political Kidnapping and Hijacking by J. E. S. FAWCETT
An international lawyer and formerly Fellow of All Souls College. Oxford. Mr Fawcett is now Vice-President of the European Commission for Human Rights and Director of Studies at the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
Political kidnapping and hijacking are two of the forms group violence has recently taken against accepted order. Mr Fawcett asks what controls are possible and what legal rules are at present applicable?
