Keeping the public informed and entertained can be an expensive business. But how much does it cost to make a half-hour television drama or an hour-long radio programme? The BBC receives about £500-million a year from licence fees. But where does all the money go?
With the licence fee once again under negotiation, is there a case for changing the system?
