Life Under Water
The sea covers two-thirds of the earth's surface, and rivers, lakes and canals criss-cross the rest, but we still don't know very much about the animal and plant life beneath the water. Do fish sleep? Do they see colour? Why do crabs walk sideways? How do limpets stick? Is an anemone a Bower or an animal? How does a fly-fisherman fool a trout?
Paul Cragg. marine biologist and Anne Powell , fish biologist, join Sne MacGregor to answer your questions.

Reunion by ARTHUR FRANKS with Jeremy Kemp
Many people today do not know who the Palestine Police were or what they did.
But for one man, they were still very much alive. Every year he arranged a meeting so that fellow members who had been killed in Palestine in 1946. would be remembered and honoured. But it was rather a strange meeting.

Why should there be a factory making powerful pain-killing drugs inside our heads? Since the discovery in 1975 that natural counterparts to morphine and other opiate drugs exist in the brain there has been much speculation about their role in the body. It has been suggested that they may be involved in the suppression of pain. the control of emotion and even the regulation of body fat. Geoff Watts examines these and other theories that try to explain our natural opium dens. Producer DEBORAH COHEN (Repeated: Fri 11.5 am)
