This is the name given to the remote and beautiful North-East coast of Greenland part of the largest National Park In the world. It is locked in Ice for most of the year but, in the cloudless summer days of 24-hour sunshine, it is full of life: flowers, insects and migrating birds from Britain, as well as the resilient musk-oxen and polar bears. John Arnott talks to some of the few residents and to visiting scientists and explorers, and examines how life can survive in such a harsh environment.
