Chile v Austria
Live coverage from the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in St Etienne of this Group B match (kick off 4.30pm).
Chile served notice of their ability with a 2-0 win against England at Wembley in February. Both Chile's goals that night were scored by Marcelo Salas , who joins Lazio of Italy next season. Salas and Ivan Zamorano scored 22 goals between them during Chile's qualifying campaign, and together they form a formidable striking partnership. The Austrian team has few stars, although several of the squad ply their trade in German football, including playmaker Andreas Herzog. Introduced by Gary Lineker, with Mark Lawrenson and Jimmy Hill, commentary by Jon Champion and Trevor Brooking. Match of the Day is at 11.10pm.
