Desmond Lynam hosts live Uefa Cup football with Newcastle United's third-round, first-leg clash in France.
The Tyneside team are now second favourites to raise the trophy aloft after their impressive 6-3 aggregate triumph over Hungarian champions Ferencvaros. Their French star David Ginola, who scored a stunning goal in the second leg, will be hoping to impress as he performs on home soil, while Colombian striker Faustino Asprilla will be aiming to add to the two goals he claimed in the same match.
England centre-forward Les Ferdinand has scored in every round of the Uefa competition so far, a record he will look to extend in the absence of club and country team-mate Alan Shearer.
Metz won their place in this round by defeating Portugal's Sporting Lisbon and Kevin Keegan's Magpies will acknowledge that they have a tough obstacle to overcome.
